Our main value is the quality of the network that receives your quote requests. No room for ghost sellers, dropshippers without stock, or intermediaries who collect payments but do not deliver. Each ContainerEU supplier goes through a strict validation process and remains under continuous monitoring of their quality indicators.
The 4 mandatory criteria to join the network
A supplier who does not meet the four criteria below cannot enter the ContainerEU network — no exceptions.
Valid and current Companies House registration
INSEE verification at registration, controlled annual update. Radiated or in liquidation numbers are excluded.
Active EU VAT number
VIES check for European companies. Suppliers without a valid VAT number cannot join the network.
Professional liability insurance
Valid insurance certificate required, covering at least transport, delivery and commercial activity.
Minimum 2 years of experience
To ensure business and logistical maturity. New structures (less than 2 years) cannot enter directly.
The 6 quality commitments of our suppliers
Beyond the entry criteria, each supplier signs a measurable quality charter. These commitments are monitored quarterly. A supplier who repeatedly fails to meet several commitments is suspended.
1. Response within 48 hours
Each partner supplier commits to responding to all qualified quote requests within two working days. Those who regularly exceed this deadline are removed from the network.
2. Transparency on the final price
No bait pricing followed by additional costs at the time of the quote. The announced price must be the final price, including all options (excluding delivery if specified separately).
3. Delivery commitment compliance
An announced delivery date must be met. In case of delay, the supplier must proactively inform and compensate if there is damage (standard construction penalty).
4. Accessible customer service
Operational phone and email support during working hours. No offshore call centres without technical expertise on containers.
5. Administrative compliance
All documents required by UK law (delivery note, compliant VAT invoice, Companies House registration mention on official correspondence) must be provided on time.
6. Dispute management
In the event of a dispute between buyer and supplier, the supplier commits to responding within five working days and seeking an amicable solution.
Continuous monitoring: what we watch
Joining the network is one thing. Staying in it is another. Each supplier is continuously evaluated on four objective indicators, aggregated monthly:
- Response rate to quote requests — below 80% of responses within 48 hours over a rolling three-month period triggers a warning. Below 60%, suspension.
- Price discrepancy between quoted and final price — a structural difference greater than 5% between the initial quote price and the actual billed amount to the customer is a red flag.
- Customer feedback — we collect post-delivery reviews. An aggregated score below 3.8/5 based on 50 reviews triggers a partnership review.
- Unresolved disputes — each reported customer dispute is tracked until resolution. A supplier accumulating unresolved disputes is temporarily paused.
This system is not here to punish — it is here to maintain the average quality of the network, which benefits everyone: customers receiving genuine and serious quotes, and good suppliers operating in a professional but fair environment.
