General Terms of Use
Last updated: 21 April 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the containereu.com website ("the Site"), published by [Company name — to be completed] ("ContainerEU"). By accessing the Site, you accept these Terms without reservation. If you disagree, you must immediately stop using the Site.
1. Purpose of the Service
ContainerEU is a matchmaking service between users seeking a shipping container, site cabin or portable cabin (hereinafter 'Buyers') and companies selling these products (hereinafter 'Supplier Partners'). The service is free for Buyers. ContainerEU does not sell directly and is not party to any sales contract concluded between the Buyer and a Supplier Partner.
2. Access to the Service
Access to the Site is open. Submitting a quote request requires completing a form with accurate and up-to-date information. The Buyer agrees to provide real contact details and not submit fraudulent, whimsical or abusive commercial prospecting requests.
3. Transmission of Requests
After validation of a quote request by the Buyer, ContainerEU forwards it to a maximum of five (5) Supplier Partners selected by an internal algorithm based on geographical location, type of product requested, stock availability and historical quality indicators. The Supplier Partners then contact the Buyer directly to present their offer.
4. Absence of Commitment
A quote request does not bind the Buyer to purchase. The Buyer is free to accept, reject or ignore any received quotes. A quote is a commercial proposal from the Supplier Partner that becomes contractual only after signing an order form or contract with them.
5. Ownership and Licence
The contents of the Site (texts, guides, infographics, code) are the exclusive property of ContainerEU. The Buyer has a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for private use only as information. Any commercial reproduction is prohibited.
6. Limitation of liability
ContainerEU does its utmost to ensure the quality of its supplier partner selection but cannot be held responsible for: information or prices communicated by supplier partners in their quotes; performance (or non-performance) of any sale contract concluded between the buyer and a supplier partner; the quality of products delivered by supplier partners. In the event of a dispute, the buyer is invited to contact the supplier directly first, then, failing amicable resolution, the competent courts.
7. Data protection
The processing of the Buyer's personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, accessible from the footer of the Site, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
8. Modification of the Terms and Conditions
ContainerEU reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. The modifications come into effect upon publication on the Site. The Buyer is invited to regularly consult this page.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales (or Scots law / Northern Irish law where the buyer is based in Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively). Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts (or Scottish / Northern Irish courts), subject to mandatory consumer protection rules. Consumer buyers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) — note that since Brexit, UK consumers can still access this for cross-border disputes; for UK-only disputes, contact [Approved ADR provider — Trading Standards / Citizens Advice / Financial Ombudsman as relevant].
